Workspace administration

Everything an owner or admin sets up once: the WhatsApp connection, the team, the plan, and your compliance posture.

Connect your WhatsApp Business account

  1. 1Settings → WhatsApp. Choose Embedded signup to connect through Meta in a popup, or paste credentials manually.
  2. 2Embedded signup walks you through selecting (or creating) a Meta Business account and WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).
  3. 3Wappr stores the access token encrypted (AES-256-GCM) — it is never shown again after saving.
  4. 4The webhook is registered automatically against your tenant-specific callback URL so delivery receipts and inbound messages start flowing.

Verification first

Your Meta Business must be verified before you can raise messaging limits beyond the starter tier or publish marketing templates at volume.

Phone numbers

  • Each connected number has its own display name, quality rating and messaging tier.
  • Quality (green / yellow / red) is driven by user blocks and reports — sustained red pauses sending.
  • Business plans can connect multiple numbers and multiple WABAs and pick the sender per campaign.
  • A number's daily tier (250 → 1k → 10k → 100k unique customers) is enforced by Wappr before Meta rejects the send.

Team members and roles

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything, including billing, deleting the workspace and transferring ownership.
AdminSettings, WhatsApp connection, team, templates, campaigns, compliance.
AgentInbox conversations, contacts, quick replies. No settings or billing.
ViewerRead-only access to dashboards and analytics.

Invite from Team. Invitees receive a branded email; the invite expires if unused. Round-robin assignment only considers members with the Agent role who are marked available.

Plans, billing and add-ons

  • Regional pricing is applied in your workspace currency (USD, EUR, GBP, INR, BRL).
  • Add-ons cover extra message bundles and extra phone numbers.
  • Meta conversation costs are passed through with a visible markup on the Analytics → Costs tab.

Branding and white-label

Business workspaces can set a logo, favicon, accent colour and product name under Settings → Branding, and point a custom domain at the app. Branding also applies to outgoing notification emails and the checkout pages.

White-label and custom domains require the Business plan.

Single sign-on

  1. 1Settings → Security → SSO. Choose SAML or OIDC.
  2. 2Paste the metadata URL or certificate from your identity provider.
  3. 3Map the email claim, then test with one account before enforcing.
  4. 4Once enforced, password sign-in is disabled for everyone on your email domain.
SSO is a Business plan feature.

Compliance, GDPR and data residency

  • Data export: download everything held about a contact as JSON/CSV from the Compliance page.
  • Right to erasure: erase a contact and their message history, with an audit record kept of the erasure itself.
  • Consent: opt-in is recorded with source and timestamp; STOP-style keywords unsubscribe automatically.
  • Residency: choose EU, US or APAC processing. Strict mode rejects out-of-region requests with HTTP 451.
  • IP allow-lists and session policies restrict where the workspace can be accessed from.

Audit logs and reliability

Audit logs records who changed what — settings, templates, team, exports — with retention set by your plan. Reliability shows the message queue depth, retries, dead-lettered sends and webhook health, so you can see whether a delivery problem is yours or Meta's.
